The 43rd Annual Medina County Arts Week is in full swing, Festa Italiana takes over downtown Cuyahoga Falls, and both Medina farmers markets are back on Saturday morning. Day of Celebrating the Arts — Medina Square
Medina County Arts Week's signature daytime event takes over the historic Public Square from noon to 4:00 PM. Expect art exhibits from local artists, live performances on the Square, and hands-on activities for all ages. Sarah's Violin Studio students perform at 3:10 PM, 5:00 PM, and 7:00 PM. It's free, open to the public, and a great way to spend a Tuesday afternoon downtown.

Crossroads Bluegrass — Lake Medina
As part of the Medina County Park District's Access the Arts series, Crossroads — a local bluegrass trio — performs at the beautiful Shotwell Gardens at Lake Medina. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy live music in one of the park district's most scenic spots. The show runs from 7:00 to 8:00 PM and requires no registration.

Friday, July 17
Festa Italiana Opens — Downtown Cuyahoga Falls
One of the region's best summer festivals kicks off Friday evening in the Falls River Front District. Festa Italiana brings live music, Italian food, and a street-festival atmosphere to downtown Cuyahoga Falls for three days. Friday's headliner is E5C4P3, a Journey tribute band, taking the Amphitheater Stage at 8:00 PM. Waller & DeMarco Duo open at 5:00 PM. Admission and parking are both free.

Disney's Descendants: The Musical — Opening Night
The Medina County Show Biz Company opens its summer production of Disney's Descendants: The Musical at 7:30 PM. Tickets run $10–$15, and it's a fun, family-friendly outing. Additional performances are Saturday at 7:30 PM and Sunday at 2:00 PM matinee.

Medina Square Farmers Market
The 22nd season of the Medina Square Farmers Market continues every Saturday through October. Over 70 vendors set up on the historic Public Square with fresh produce, baked goods, meats, cheeses, honey, plants, and handmade goods. It's one of the best farmers markets in the county and a Saturday-morning staple.

A second farmers market option runs Saturday mornings at Cornerstone Chapel on Granger Road. This one focuses on locally grown produce and artisan goods and runs through mid-November — so it's a great backup if you miss the Square market or want a different vendor mix.

Seville Arts Walk
Part of Medina County Arts Week, the Seville Arts Walk runs from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM in downtown Seville. Local businesses host hands-on creative activities, and live music plays from 1:00 to 3:00 PM in front of the Seville Library. It's free, family-friendly, and a nice excuse to explore one of Medina County's smaller towns.

Starry, Starry Nights — Letha House Park
The Cuyahoga Astronomical Association sets up telescopes at Letha House Lodge for an evening of stargazing. View the moon, planets, and deep-sky objects through high-powered scopes. It's a fantastic family outing, and the Medina County Park District hosts it as part of their summer programming.

Festa Italiana — Day Two (with Fireworks)
Saturday is the big day at Festa Italiana in Cuyahoga Falls. The lineup includes the Riverfront Community Band at noon, The Michael Weber Show at 5:30 PM, and country artist Devon Henry at 8:00 PM. The evening wraps with fireworks at approximately 9:45 PM. Multiple stages, Italian food vendors, and a midway keep things lively all day.

Screen on the Green — Hudson
Head to the First & Main Green in Hudson for a free outdoor movie night. This Saturday's screening is A Christmas Story — yes, in July. It's a "Christmas in July" tradition, and the show starts at 9:00 PM. Bring a blanket and enjoy one of the best parts of summer in Hudson.

Art in the Park — 52nd Annual
The crown jewel of Medina County Arts Week. The 52nd annual Art in the Park is a juried fine art show and sale featuring more than 130 local and visiting artists. Browse and buy original paintings, ceramics, jewelry, woodwork, and more while enjoying the historic Medina Square. It's always held on the third Sunday in July and runs rain or shine. Free parking is available.
